Bikes@Work was founded in 2007 by Rosy Strong. Rosy has worked in Australia and overseas as a physiotherapist for almost a decade. Drawn by a passionate interest in the environment and the interconnection between the environment and human health, Rosy decided to undertake postgraduate studies in Health Promotion in 2006.

Rosy has been involved in the community health sector for more than five years and has developed and implemented a variety of community health promotion programs. She has also worked as a student intern and project officer with the Walking and Cycling Branch of Victorian Department of Transport (formally Department of Infrastructure).

Bikes@Work was nominated for the Australian Bicycling Achievement Awards in 2008 in the Bicycle Friendly Business category.  For more information about award winners and other nominees see the Cycling Promotion Fund website.
